I enjoy creating classic posters for businesses and groups. I love hyper detailed illustrations and try to create a mood within the poster using colors and linework.
Forlorn is a gruesome table top strategy game. In Forlorn you control several unique islanders on a map and try to accomplish one of the 4 game modes. The game is 2-4 players and after the kickstarter the game grew to 36 unique Islanders which all behave differently.
The game took three years to make of which a year and a half went to testing to balance the mechanics. To accomplish this I had several dedicated board game groups which would send me feed back, if something was broken, then I would post updated character boards for them to print off. Additionally, I hosted open test nights at local board game shops and got their feedback. There were over 200 testers and well over 1,000 games played prior to it’s launch. Kandrite was my first foyer into huge bodies of work. For three years my room mate and I developed a free-to-play digital online trading card game called Kandrite. The kickstarter was unfortunately unsuccessful but it was a great opportunity to learn how to give myself deadlines and priorities as I developed artwork for hundreds of cards, soundtracks and videos.
The game was based in the world of Kandrite where there were 12 starter races, but the plan for 60 as the game progressed. The game had a underlying storyline that would be revealed over time as players battled each other for the lands.

In my spare time I am constantly creating board games and social party games. Because doing a Kickstarter is extremely exhausting, I simply build test and then print them out on The Gamecrafter. I gift or sell the games to people who express an interest. My most successful ‘side-side’ project has been “PRET!” a 2 person fencing game. In PRET! you must attack, parry, rest and riposte if you can. The game uses cards and drawing as your stamina in a fast paced battle. If you block inefficiently you become worn down and are eventually beaten, or if you can unleash a flurry you can catch an opponent off guard. Outside of projects I enjoy illustrating with pencils and markers. One of my favorite projects was my ‘Babes of Disaster’ series (you can see 2 of them below). I wanted to make a stance against artists who make huge artist statements with no technical skill. So, the idea of the series was to have no deep meaning, but kick ass and have fun. The illustrations are 3’x2′ (so pretty large) and are all freehand drawn.
This is not anything impressive, but just something that I wanted to include. For my Bachelor Party I ported the Friday the 13th video game to real life. Eight of my friends and I went up west of Cascade, Idaho into a cabin in the woods. We flagged off a map that was a quarter mile by a quarter mile. We then set up a number of tents and picnic areas across the map and proceeded to play three days in the rain as we hunted each other down, fixed my crappy ford focus and tried to rebuild a bike. Check out the poster I printed off for the rules.
